Costs
The Good Business Charter is free to join and the first year of membership is also FREE for everyone.
The cost structure after the first free year is as follows:
Small organisations
Organisations with 0-50 employees: £25 flat rate per year. So whether you have 3 employees or 33 employees, you will pay just £25 a year for your membership in recognition that we really want the Good Business Charter to be accessible to small businesses and small charities.
Larger organisations
For all other organisations, the membership fee will be based on £1 per employee up to a limit of £2,500 for private sector organisations and just £500 for public sector and third sector organisations.
So if you have 68 employees, you will pay £68 a year as a membership fee.
If you have 150 employees, you will pay £150 a year as a membership fee.
If you have 2,500 employees and are a private company, you will pay £2,500 but if you have 10,000 employees you will also only pay £2,500. However if you are a public sector organisation or charity then we are committed to capping this membership fee at £500 per year.
We do not want cost to be a barrier to GBC accreditation which is why we are determined to keep our costs low. We are grateful to private funding to enable us to cover our operational costs to support this policy.
